Rudraprayag is a very popular town located in the Rudraprayag district in the state of Uttarakhand. It is one of the five junctions of the Alaknanda river and is situated at the junction of the Alaknanda river and the Mandakini river. It is a sacred place and is named after the Rudra roop of Lord Shiva. Some of the places that can be viewed in Rudraprayag are the Rudranath Temple, Basukedar Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Kartik Swami Temple, Koteshwar, Shree Tungeshwar Mahadev Ji Temple and many other places are worth watching.
